Min Qualification A Master’s Degree (Bechelor’s Degree obtained in 10+2+3 followed bt a two years Master’s Degree) from a recognized University in the relevant discipline with 55% or its equivalent ‘B’ grade in the UGC 7 point scale. Professional Qualification in Chartered Accountancy/ Cost Accountancy/Company Secretary as awarded by the respective Statutory Institutes of India will be considered equivalent to Master’s Degree.

Yes, we have a practice of appointing Ph.D. scholars as Research assistants.
We don’t have a part-time Ph.D. The program, At JLU we offer Ph.D. for working professionals this program has been curated especially for Professionals.
The Research cell of the university initiates the process of allocating the Guides and Co-Guide according to the subject expertise with the approval of the Dean and the Consent of the faculty expert.
Guides will be assigned by the University after completing Term -1, Candidates are free to choose their Co -Guide from the outside as well.
Yes, Candidates are allowed to change their guide with the approval of the dean and Research cell.
According to UGC, No paper is required, however, we follow the guidelines of publishing two research papers before the submission.

Steps to apply for fee concession :
| (1.) | Choose your program and complete the admission Application Form. |
| (2.) | The applicant has to Appear in the JLURET / Personal Interview round, as guided by the admission counselor. |
| (3.) | If shortlisted, Provisional Admission Letter (PAL) will be released to the applicant. |
| (4.) | Accept PAL, Sign the refund undertaking, and deposit the seat booking amount within 7 days of the date of issuance of the letter. |
| (5.) | Check scholarship eligibility with the admission counselor, fill out the scholarship application form, & submit it to the admissions office. |
| (6.) | If shortlisted, the scholarship letter will be emailed to you within 7 working days of the scholarship application submission. |
| (7.) | Deposit the full 1st-semester fee at the Admission Office and get registration complete at the Student Section Office. |
Types of fee concession :
- Fee Concession for the JLU Faculty: (Confirmed employee as of the date of admission)

- 50% concession on tuition fees ONLY
- Caution money waiver ONLY.
- In case, the employee leaves the organization during the course of study, the concession availed will be
reversed & all the sums will be liable for payment. - After completion of Ph.D., the faculty member completes 5 years’ time in the University; the entire amount
paid will be reimbursed to the employee. - HR policy may be referred to for details.
- Fee Concession for JSWS Board Members:
