Azaadi ka Amrut Mahotsav: India’s freedom struggle
JLU organised the Amrut Mahotsav with a Symposium Programmes on the Gotowebinar Platform in line with “renaissance the immortal saga of the freedom struggle exists and that are lost in the time of history”. The two hour event reflected on the struggle of independence which was a long and toilsome journey for our forefathers.
The topic was “India’s freedom struggle”
The Eminent Speakers at the event were, Prof . N. Radhakrishnan (Doctorate in Gandhian philosophy, Non-violence activist and an educator), along with Prof. Dr. Anoop Swarup, (Chairman, Centre for Global Nonkilling at Centre for Global Nonkilling, and Founding Chairman, Global Knowledge Alliance )
Prof . N. Radhakrishnan shared his thoughts by emphasising the importance on the Vasudhaiva Kutumbakam (the world is one family ) and how we can promote the global value in our young minds. On this occasion he remembered the scarifies of founding fathers and youth for the great freedom movement.
Dr. Swarup in his address said, “India is a head of many countries in terms of properties, intelligentsia. There is so much which can be contributed by India.” He mentioned about unprecedented situation that arose due to the pandemic, but it is India providing free vaccine to 100 counties around the world. He mentioned about the “covert war” which has created so much confusion in the mind of intelligentsia this is war India is facing. This is time to retrospect for the great future of India.
Dr. Sandeep Shastri (Vice Chancellor of the Jagran Lakecity University) also graced the event with his presence. Former, Dean Student Welfare Prof. (Dr.) Yogendra Srivastava gave a vote of thanks to the dignitaries and the attendees.
