Engineers’ contribution to a country’s development is obvious; from computer science engineers to mechanical engineers; they build the backbone of every type of infrastructure. Nation celebrates Engineer’s Day on September 15^th to commemorate the birth anniversary of the greatest Indian Engineer Bharat Ratna Mokshagundam Visvesvaraya. He was an Excellent Statesman and Eminent Engineer.

To give him a remarkable tribute, JLU-School of Engineering and Technology is organizing a one day event on the occasion of Engineer’s Day on 15^th September, 2021. The event will be organized in online mode only.

Following activities are scheduled for this day-

1. Inaugural Ceremony :

Time: 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM

2. Expert Talk :

(Time: 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM), Topic: “Mathematical modeling in Engineering & Science”

Guest Speaker:

(Dr.) Vinod Prakash Saxena

(Ex-Vice-Chancellor, Jiwaji University, Gwalior)

3. Poster Presentation Competition :

Time: 1:30 PM to 2:30 PM

A poster competition based on various interesting themes related to engineering and its applications is going to be organized under     Engineer’s Day Celebration by JLU-School of Engineering and Technology on 15^th September 2021. The event will take place online.

4. Valedictory Session & Announcement of the Winners

Time: 3.00 PM -4.00 PM

Online Registration in Poster Competition:

Last Date for Registration: – 14^th September 2021 (Till 5 PM)

Procedure to Submit the Posters :

1. Registered Participants have to Mail their posters at our mail id in pdf. or jpg format only.

2. Mail id to submit the posters is: jlusoet@jlu.edu.in

3. Please mention your name, contact no., email id in the mail at the time of submission.

4. Deadline of Poster Submission: 15^th September 11:30 AM

Rules for the Poster Presentation:

1. Online registration is compulsory for each participant.

2. The Poster is to prepared manually on the sheet (Preferably A3 or A4 size), take its snapshot, and convert it into pdf.

3. Acceptable colors include pencil, crayon, watercolor, oil paint, etc.

4. File Format: Save your file with your name in a PDF/ JPEG to upload in the provided link/email id.

5. The poster will be judged according to the creativity, presentation, and relevance to the topic.

6. The name of the participant and his/her organization name must appear on the poster.

7. Each participant should submit one entry only.

8. The heading of the topic to be presented should be at top in the poster image sheet.

9. The poster should be the original work of the participant. Any participant found violating rules and the regulation will be disqualified  from the competition.

10. The decision of the jury will be considered final.

11. Deadline of Poster Submission: 15^th September 11:30 AM

12. Submission will be followed by the presentation of posters of top 10 participants (1:30 PM to 2:30 PM)

Three Winners will get the following amazing prizes along with rank certificates-

      1st Prize- Amazon Voucher of Worth Rs. 1000/-

     2^nd Prize– Amazon Voucher of Worth Rs. 500/-
