JLU signed a MOU with the DG Research and Policy Cell Training Branch, of the MP Police
Jagran Lakecity University signed a MOU with the DG Research and Policy Cell Training Branch, of the Madhya Pradesh Police for collaborative research, partnerships, joint projects and community outreach programmes.
As JLU has established itself as a research based university, widely appreciated for its practice based pedagogy, MP police found it the right partner for its ‘Research and Evidence Based’ training modules.
By joining forces, JLU’s research capabilities and MP Police’s wide reach, can be crucial to discover new avenues of identifying and resolving local and state level issues related to Law, order and Justice.
We welcomed senior officers of the MP Police department including Ms. Aruna Mohan Rao, Special Director General (SDG) Training, Mr. Rajesh Chawla ADG – Training, Dr. Vineet Kapoor, Deputy Director, Madhya Pradesh Police Academy and Ms. Irmeen Shah, AIG Training, Police Headquarters Bhopal to the University campus for signing the MOU. We already completed a pilot project involving a webinar series on psychological wellbeing of the frontline warriors. With this MOU signed we look forward to a fruitful partnership.
On the occasion, Ms. Aruna Mohan Rao, Special Director General (SDG) Training, said, “With JLU’s research expertise, MP Police personnel will get the much needed training and guidance to perform their duties better. This is a welcoming step for the whole justice system of the state.”
