Our Fourth Pillar gives a global dimension to our Vision of being an international University. We have partnered with some of the best universities abroad to ensure that our students get accustomed to the changes and innovations happening around the world. Through these collaborations, Jagranites get global exposure under International Degree Programs that includes Credited Electives, International Teaching Months, Exchange Programs for both faculty and students, Semester Exchanges, and Summer Schools. We have crafted special arrangements with our partner universities to ensure our students get economic benefits in tuition fees while enrolling in any of our partner universities abroad.

University is recognized by University Grants Commission (UGC), under section 2(f) of the UGC Act, 1956. The JLU, Bhopal also has an accreditation with NCTE, Institution’s Innovation Council, and MP state government.

Keeping a learning oriented approach and to extend global opportunities for the students and staff. The university is member of Association of Indian Universities (AIU), The Association of CommonWealth Universities, Association of Universities of Asia and the Pacific (AUAP), International Association of Law Schools, ICADR, AIMA, CII, Erasmus+, AFS, FICCI and many more.

The university has 42+ collaborations with international Universities for academic excellence. A few of the top universities associated with JLU are the University of Arts London (UAL), Purdue University, USA, Management Development Institute (MDI), Singapore, Korean National University of Arts, RMIT University, Australia, NLIU Bangalore, NLIU Bhopal, etc.

The university follows a strict Academic Calendar. The exact dates will be communicated by the Registrar Office a few weeks before the start of the programme. Tentatively, the 1st semester study starts in August each year.

At the university, the academic year is structured under a semester system: August - January, and Feb-July.

For each program planning purposes, per-registration opens a minimum 30 days prior to the application deadline. Final program sign-up takes place during the Orientation period.

Yes. To acquaint students with the university ecosystem. The orientation is scheduled at three levels. The University Level, School Level and Program Level. It is mandatory for all incoming students to attend the Orientation Programme.

Yes, students are allowed to change the program once only before mid-term exams subject to the availability of seats in the new program and payment of program change fee.

The 3 years LL.B and 5 years integrated BA LL.B and BBA LL.B programs are recognized by Bar Council of India (BCI), a statutory body of the Government of India to regulate and represent the Indian Bar.

The B.Arch program is being approved by Council of Architecture (COA), a statutory body of the Government of India for the regulation of the architectural education and practice of profession and for maintaining the register of architects.

There will be midterm exams and end semester exams for assessment but there will also be many other forms of evaluations too. Academic progress may also be gauged through tasks, projects, class participation, attendance, conversations, observations, and much else.

The university encourages students to meet each faculty and enroll in student clubs to interact with students from around the world. By living and learning in this diverse environment, you’ll be able to meet and build global networks, while developing communication and leadership skills needed for cross-cultural cooperation.

Each program is curated by leading professionals from academia and industry. The Board of Studies (BOS) approved the curriculum structure. All programs are taught in English language in classroom settings, and will include hands-on and field study components including several industry visits throughout the region during each semester.

Apart from being a powerful academic. Students may take advantage of the exceptional student clubs and enjoy a variety of extracurricular activities and learn about cross border cultures and backgrounds from international students. Many students may choose to travel in their free time and explore living in Bhopal.

Yes. Each student will receive official transcripts and academic credits in each semester. The university follows a CGPA grading pattern

You can be given transfer credit, but it depends on JLU’s association with the university you are coming from and mapping of the program syllabus in later admission.

While we encourage students to explore a variety of options of minors in their early days. You are advised to plan your program in such a way as to acquire the domain knowledge, career skills, and global network. The program's academic leader are always available to help student make career mapping plan.

Minimum 75% attendance is compulsory in each semester. Students are expected to attend all classes, seminars, workshops, etc. All absences (beyond unexpected illness or emergency) must have advance permission from the program leader. Short of attendance may fail student to receive credit for the course.

Yes, you may withdraw anytime by submitting the withdrawal application to the Dean’s office. Your withdrawal will be considered approved after receiving all No-DUES from each relevant department.

A student must complete all coursework within a given semester to receive credit for the course.
