Ms. Vidhita Rakhe of Faculty of Law contributed a chapter in the book, ‘Changing Dynamics of Intellectual Property Rights’

Ms. Vidhita Rakhe, Assistant Professor at Faculty of Law, Jagran Lakecity University, has added one such marvelous feat in the list of our faculty achievements

Ms. Vidhita Rakhe, contributed a chapter titled ‘Assessing Single-Colour Registrability- Principled on the United States’ Approach” in the book titled “Changing Dynamics of Intellectual Property Rights” published by Satyam Law International with ISBN: 978-81-949509-8-1.

The Editor-in-chief of the book is Prof. (Dr.) Vijender Kumar, Vice Chancellor, Maharashtra National Law University, Nagpur, and the Foreword is written by Hon’ble Mr. Justice B.R. Gavai, Supreme Court of India.

Ms. Vidhita Rakhe holds a B.A.LL.B.(Hons.) Degree from Department of Legal Studies and Research, Barkatullah University and LL.M. Degree in Corporate and IP Laws from Faculty of Law, Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal, and is currently pursuing her Ph. D from Faculty of Law, Jagran Lakecity University. She also holds Diploma Course on ‘Cyber Laws’ administered by Government Law College, Mumbai and Asian School of Cyber Laws, Pune, Certificate Course on ‘Intellectual Property Rights & Information Technology in the Internet Age’ from Indian Law Institute, New Delhi and a Certificate Course on ‘Human Rights’ from Indira Gandhi National Open University, New Delhi. Ms. Vidhita has interned with the different litigation and corporate firms and various Tribunals including National Green Tribunal, State Information Commission, Consumer Forum and District Court of Bhopal.

Ms. Rakhe is the Advisory Board Member YIMF ACADEMIA and also the Associate Editor of Journal of Contract and Tort Law. Apart from teaching he has multiple roles and responsibilities at Jagran Lakecity University, Bhopal. To name a few, she is Coordinator of Centre for Energy, Infrastructural and Transport Laws, and Faculty Advisor at JLUSOL Moot Court Committee and Exam co-coordinator at Faculty of Law. Ms. Vidhita is a trained Bharatnatayam Dancer.
