To continue the legacy of excellence in research, Jagran Lakecity University Research Cell organized JLU Voice for Research Excellence Series III. It was held on January 30, 2021. The topic for the series was “Issues in Predatory Publishing – How Can Researcher’s lead the Way?”
Dr. Sumit Narula, Director, Amity School of Communication was the keynote speaker for the Research Excellence Series III. He gave many insights on cloned, faked, and predatory journals operated globally. He also discussed DOI, orchid I’d, COP, DOAJ Stamp, CLOCKSS and Retraction watch to give proper understand on the process. These are the ways in which researcher can sight their research work. He also discussed plagiarism, citation, the process of checking the journals. A more detailed conversation on Research Work Ethics was done in the second workshop where Dr, Sandeep Shastri, VC, JLU Bhopal took the session. However, in this session, Dr. Sandeep Shastri shared their views on various aspects of Predatory Journals and enlighten the participants
During his conversation, Prof. (Dr.) Vinay Joshi – Director Research & IQAC, Jagran Lakecity University, stated that such the online workshop will be organized continuously at the university. The students, researchers will get the jam-packed benefit of the academic activities across the university with these sessions.
