Dr. Mohammad Shoaib Khan Presented a Paper at NCATHM 2021

Dr. Mohammad Shoaib Khan, Assistant Professor, JLU-School of Hospitality and Tourism, presented a research paper titled, ‘Tourism Resource Potential in Chitrakoot Region: A SWOT Analysis’ at National E-Conference on ‘Advances in Tourism & Hospitality Management’ (NCATHM 2021) organized by Department of Hotel Management, IES University, Bhopal on 17th July, 2021.
In his presentation, he discussed about the untapped tourism resource potentials of Chitrakoot Region, which lies between the borders of Uttar Pradesh and Madhya Pradesh. His paper summarized the SWOT analysis of the region pertaining to the tourism related resources and activities.
The primary focus of the study was on how to enhance tourist footfall and hence boosting the local economy and hence contributing to the national economy and integration of socio-cultural diversity of the India.

About:
Dr. Mohammad Shoaib Khan is a Doctorate in Tourism Marketing, has qualified UGC-NET, UGC-MANF-JRF in Tourism Administration and Management with a keen interest in Tourism Marketing and Management and Research Methodology.
He is International Career Coach certified by Career Development Alliance (USA), National Career Development Association (USA) and Mindler (India) and also Evaluator in Toycathon by inter-ministerial initiative organized by Ministry of Education’s Innovation Cell with support from AICTE, Ministry of Women and Child Development, Ministry of Commerce and Industry, Ministry of MSME, Ministry of Textiles and Ministry of Information and Broadcasting.
Dr. Khan has participated in More than 60 National and International Seminars, Conferences, Workshops and FDP and Webinars.
He has been guiding and mentoring a wide range of subjects to Ph.D., Postgraduate and under graduate students. His expertise also includes sustainable destination development and responsible tourism.
In addition, he has a good hand in SPSS, AMOS and Smart-PLS (Social Sciences Research based Statistical Software for data analysis.)
