Smriti Panjwani Won The Best Paper Presentation Award at an International Conference

Students of Jagran Lakecity University are excelling across all domains.
This gives us immense pleasure to bring to the kind notice that Smriti Panjwani, first year student, M.A. Public Policy & International Affairs, of Jagran School of Public Policy and International Affairs, was adjudged as the “Best Presenter” at the International Conference on “Consumer Rights: Issues and Challenges”
This illustrious event was organised by Consumer Assisto in joint collaboration with Consumer Protection Cell, School of Law, Manipal University, Jaipur on 30th May 2021.
The event was conducted virtually and was graced by the presence of:
- Chief Guest for the Inaugural Session of the Conference, Hon’ble Justice(Retd.) K.G. Balakrishnan- Former Chief Justice of India and Former Chairperson of the National Human Rights Commission of India.
- Guest of Honour was Hon’ble Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. K.V.S. Sarma, Maharashtra National Law University, Aurangabad.
The Conference aims to bring together leading academic scientists, researchers, research scholars and students to exchange and share their experiences.
This was also an opportunity to research results on all aspects of Consumer Protection Law and Regulations.
This also provides a premier interdisciplinary platform for researchers, practitioners, and educators to present and discuss the most recent innovations, trends, and concerns as well as practical challenges encountered and solutions adopted especially in the fields of Consumer Protection Laws and their rights.
The event had over 100 participants in various sessions and Smriti wrote a paper on the topic
“Consumer Protection in The Age of E-Commerce in India: An Analysis.”
Her presentation was widely lauded by the jury members.
