Conflict and peace strategies and related studies has been an important domain for some decades. Study of the role of intelligence, diplomacy, and international cooperation for security and defence is equally important in the field of public policy and international relations. The shifts in foreign policy with an emphasis on hard and soft power linkages are the basic areas of study. Probing the implications of increasing global inter-dependence and foreign relations on India is extremely important. CSSGD is focused on coming up with effective suggestions to ignite a discourse on strategic issues so as to enhance India’s global presence. This will be done with a qualitative analysis of past, present and potential strategies for developing relevant policy documents.
