Education Loan Assistance
Jagran Lakecity University aims to support deserving/meritorious students in availing
financial assistance for pursuing their higher education. In order to encourage students to take up higher education
despite their financial shortcomings, nowadays, most banks are providing attractive loan facility to them.
Students can avail loan from any bank. However, for the benefit of its students, Jagran Lakecity University has
tie-ups with the following banks:
- Axis bank
- HDFC Bank
- SBI
We help our students in speedy processing of their loan applications across the country. During June-August, a kiosk will be set up inside the University for the benefit of students seeking financial assistance from the bank.

Steps to apply for Education Loan:
| Step 1 | Choose your program and complete the admission Application Form. |
| Step 2 | Applicant has to Appear in the JLUET / Personal Interview round as guided by the admission counselor. |
| Step 3 | If shortlisted, Provisional Admission Letter (PAL) will release to the applicant. |
| Step 4 | Applicant has to accept the PAL and deposit seat booking amount within 7 days of the date of issuance of the letter. |
| Step 5 | Recheck the scholarship eligibility on website, and connect with the admission counselor to fill the scholarship application form and submit it to the admissions office. |
| Step 6 | If shortlisted for scholarship, the scholarship letter will be emailed to you with in 7 working days of the scholarship application. |
| Step 7 | Apply for loan letter at admissions office. Deposit full 1st semester fee at Admission Office and get registration complete at the Student Section Office. |
Generic documents required for Education Loan:
- Admission letter of Jagran Lakecity University giving details of year wise fee, boarding and lodging expenses
- Attested copies of documents for proof of age/date of birth and proof of residential address
- Passport size photo of the applicant, co-obligants and guarantors
- Copy of marksheets/degree certificates of previous academic qualification
- Income proof/latest income tax return of parents/co-applicants, guarantors (if any)
- Details of collateral security along with valuation certificate of Govt approved valuer (if any)
The above list of documents is for general guidance only, however, each bank may require additional documents as per their respective loan policies. These bank tie-ups are an add-on service on behalf of the university; however, the students and their parents/guardians shall be responsible for obtaining sanction and repayment of the sanctioned loan and all kinds of liabilities and consequences arising thereof, if any. The University shall not be liable and responsible in this regard.

We believe that scholarships should be awarded to deserving students who have displayed extraordinary achievements both in academics and sports. The JLU Scholarships provide impetus to the University's vision of producing leaders who think globally and act locally, by identifying deserving scholars amongst a pool of young achievers. The Scholarships have been initiated to encourage the talent of such students, thereby strengthening the roots of our future generation. Every Year JLU offers scholarships worth 2.5 crores.

International Scholarshps:
Depending upon the applicant’s performance in the admission process, a flat 50% scholarship can be granted on the annual tuition fee and continuation in second and further years of the program is subject to continuation of scholarship policy.
Scholarships Based on Academic Performance – For Second Year Onwards :
The Academic scholarship policy will be applicable for both undergraduate and postgraduate programs. The scholarship will be awarded to each of the total students enrolled in each of the programs. The Scholarship policy w.e.f. the year 2023-24 based on the meritorious performance of the students in the academic year 2022-23 as under:

Chancellor Freeships
Jagran Lakecity University believes that the best and brightest talent can realise their potential and come and study at our university, irrespective of the student’s personal financial circumstances. For this very purpose the university has instituted the Chancellor Freeships. Every year 15 such students are given these freeships.
NOTE: Total seats are limited to 15 students across all programs put together under Chancellor’s free ship.

Eligibility criteria:
- DPS Shiksha Kendras students with minimum 75% marks in qualifying exam.
- Any student with minimum 85% marks in qualifying exam
- Annual Income of both the parents put together is not more than INR 5 Lacs per annum.
Scholarship entitlements:
- 100% waiver of One-time charges including Caution money.
- 100% waiver of full course fee.
- Benefit extended for the entire duration of course
- Accommodation & Mess (if availed) will be charged as per fee structure.
- Any fine / penalty / make up exam charges will be charged, if applicable.

Sports Scholarship
We at Jagran Lakecity University believe that a successful student has to be an all-rounder, and to keep true to our belief, we ensure the students have enough opportunities to showcase their talent both at inter & Intra University level. The University has a rich tradition of excelling in sports. The University operates a “JLU Elite Athlete Program”, which supports student-athletes to balance their academic and sporting commitments, by providing a flexible and responsive approach to studies. Jagran Lakecity University is a member of the Association of Indian Universities (AIU) and encourages its students to participate in Inter University and tournaments hosted by AIU.

The scholarships for achievements in the field of sports will be awarded as per the following criteria.

Terms & Conditions
- All scholarships are awarded on tuition fee only.
- Age should not be more than 25 years as of 01st July 2022.
- The scholarship is only given in the following sports:

- Scholarships are awarded for the first year only. Any continuation of sports scholarship will depend on the participation and performance of the player at a various level during their time at the university
- The final percentage (%) of sports scholarship to be granted to the applicant will be decided after performance evaluation in the sports trials.
