Class Description
The course is designed to offer the participants a hands-on approach to conduct research in various fields. The participants would be able to develop the skills to appreciate the importance of a vibrant research culture and ethics, undertake a robust review of the literature, formulate hypotheses, frame a research design, identify sampling techniques and engage with the range of tools for data collection and analysis. The Course would be a combination of online classes, assignments, and group/individual projects. The sixty hours certification course is of 4 credits and will expose the participants to a thorough conceptual knowledge intermeshed with practical applications of research techniques. The course will provide a platform for discussions on the research-related methodological issues as well as to engage with new statistical research approaches. The course aims to improve the research skills and competence of researchers by strengthening their knowledge as well as improving researcher’s technical writing skills.
The Course would be a combination of online classes, assignments, and group/individual projects.
Participants will be charged Rs.6000/- as the fees for the one term course. This includes the
tuition fees and exam fees for the course. Registration fee Rs.500 should be paid by all the
participants (Course kit will be provided along with the syllabus).
